Mason’s “Marblehead Morning,” which was a regional hit, has become a sort of trademark, inspirational anthem for our little town. ¶ Folk and Americana singer/songwriter Ina May Wool opens.

Concert starts at 8:00 pm

Jeanie and Mason

Over the years, Mason and Jeanie have recorded two albums together and their newest, 40, celebrates four decades of performing together. Jeanie has been a featured vocalist on videos for Masterpiece Theater and her jazz interpretations are emotionally moving. Mason’s list of memorable film compositions has continued to grow over the years to include numerous feature films, TV movies and themes for well-known series like Nova and Frontline. His film credits include: The Great War, Eight Men Out, Say It Ain’t So, Secret of Roan Inish, Passion Fish, Lone Star, and many more

Mason and Jeanie have been performing at the Me&Thee since shortly after we opened and appeared numerous times as part of the “All-Stars” with Billy Novick, Guy Van Duser and the late Bill Staines. We look forward to welcoming our friends back to our Me&Thee stage.

Ina May Wool

Ina May Wool returns to the Me&Thee with her insightful & emphatic songs which she has presented all over the US and Europe. Ina’s first two recordings won songwriting and performance honors at the Edinburgh Folk Festival and the Mountain Stage NewSong Festival among others. As well as singing and writing, Ina May plays guitar and mandolin. She has taught at the Manhattan School of Music, the Hoff-Barthelson School in Scarsdale and at music camps and workshops in Vermont, Virginia and Vancouver.

Ina May is also back with a brilliant new album, Rewrite the Ending. Known for her insightful, empathetic songs, Ina May’s strength and ingenuity shine through on this album. While recovering from a serious auto accident in 2018 and then sidelined from performing by the pandemic, Ina May tapped the talents of some world-class musician friends for musical support as she recorded this album. The twelve new songs are among the dozens she wrote while getting well, and she’s eager to perform them out in the world. Rewrite the Ending is now playing on the radio from Australia to Texas to San Francisco; this is healing, honest, joyful music.
