Quick Q and A with Dan Gonzalez
 by Kathy S-B  ·  28 April 2007

What’s your favorite part of being involved with the music business? Songwriting? Performing? You name it. Be creative! ;-)
That short little window of time between the last edit on a new song and the first time someone else hears it. The song is all mine, exactly the way I want it, not yet judged, not yet reinterpreted.
Do you have one major influence in your life?
Tiger Woods has inspired me to swing harder. It generally doesn’t work out for me the same as it does for him, but I’ll keep trying.
Any exciting summer plans?
I’ll be spending the summer months at a cabin on a lake in Minnesota. The goal is to try to write an entire album by the end of August. This will be a challenge for me, as it usually takes me 3 months to write one song. . . not an exaggeration!
Let’s do a Desert Island Question: If you were stranded on that island way out in the middle of nowhere and had a chargeable ipod with only one album’s worth of tunes. Which album would it be?
That’s an easy one. Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends album. Hazy Shade of Winter isn’t a Bangles song after all!
