Indiegrrls Showcased Amidst March Snowstorm
 by Kathy S-B  ·  16 March 2007

A small but enthusiastic audience came to the me & thee to see the Indiegrrls—-Angela Masciale, Patti DeRosa, and Kate Chadbourne tonight. Unfortunately, Tara Greenblatt was unable to make it since her drive through snow and sleet from New Hampshire would have been too risky. But the three talented ladies who managed to make it to the coffeehouse performed as though they were standing in front of thousands at Carnegie Hall.

Personally, I think the audience got a kick out of being in a kind of secret society that came together in the middle of a freakish March storm. Angela’s angelic voice and songs about dear old Marblehead moved the ‘Headers who walked to the show; Patti DeRosa charmed us all with her wit, stage presence, and lovely songs, and Kate Chadbourne brought a bit of the Emerald Isle into our presence, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Thanks to all who came out despite the dreary weather and thanks to Angela, Patti, and Kate for being such pros. Indiegrrls RULE!

I am so glad that that show went well, but very sorry that I was not able to attend, due to the storm!!

I hope that you have these talented women at the Me and Thee coffeehouse again — Real soon.

Thank you
